I got this through my state consumer protection today responding to my Fed-ex complaint where they jacked up the prices considerably: Ms. Scarlett-Black: Please allow this letter to respond to the complaint regarding the shipments traveling under FedEx tracking nos. 382711563106 and 875506998201. Please be advised that eBay merchants who use eBay’s discounted shipping program receive discounted FedEx rates. eBay then bills those discounted rates to their merchants and eBay collects payment from its merchants. FedEx is not involved in either the billing or payment transaction. Therefore, any shipping credit owed to an eBay merchant or any request for adjustments is the responsibility of eBay. Additionally, FedEx provides an estimated shipping charge based on the information provided at the time of tender. The Shipment Receipt provides the following language: The estimated shipping charge may be different than the actual charges for your shipment. Differences may occur based on actual weight, dimensions, and other factors. Consult the applicable FedEx Service Guide or the FedEx Rate Sheets for details on how shipping charges are calculated. I know that I (perhaps mistakenly) printed out duplicate labels for one (second) package. However, the fee for labels for this package would be the equivalent of 4.5 labels! Discussion Where in Ebay do I go to see what I paid for shipping? (seller) So, yes I can see what was received for shipping from the buyer, but nowhere can I find the actual price I paid for shipping and what if any additional insurance was purchased. I pay shipping with Paypal most time (ebay uses funds for FedEx) since I get 3% back from Paypal Credit card. I of course can see on the paypal site the amounts but NOT what transaction it's for. And once it's paid, I'm scouring ebay and I cannot find this information anywhere! I just don't see ANYWHERE in Ebay what I paid ME not the buyer to Ebay for the shipping on specific transactions!!! The problem is hundreds of sorting centers have been closed and will never reopen! Unlike other shipping options Ground Advantage is automated there’s no human involved it all automated your packages are trapped in a “ advantage loop” high speed scanning equipment can’t read the bar code and your packages end up sent to multiple states to end up smashed,missing!!!! Something small or fragile will end up with 600 pounds of weight on top of it! Discussion shipping with standard envelope for baseball card Hello, has anyone else had this happen? I listed a baseball card and selected the standard shipping using a letter sized envelope. which a baseball card will fit into easily. it sold. the buyer paid and they were charged a 1.54 shipping charge for the standard letter size shipping. However, when I go to the shipping screen to purchase a shipping label, there is no option to ship it via the standard envelope size. the weight and size of the package all fit the requirements. the value of the item was $5.00, so the value met the $20 max requirement. but the cheapest shipping option I was presented was usps ground advantage for $5.8, which is more than what the item sold for. I went to USPS.COM and purchased a label through them to ship this item, and they dont offer tracking on letter sized packages online. so it will hurt my seller rating. I reached out to ebay a few times. Need help from Community Manager "I am writing to dispute a UPS Shipping Cost Adjustment on item ID #158074361851, Order #11-14912-87687 An item was scanned at drop-off but immediately retrieved and never shipped. It was falsely hit with an underpaid adjustment. Because eBay owns the commercial UPS account, I need you to open an official Carrier Adjustment Dispute to reverse this fee and release my original label funds. The original buyer for this item decided that they didn't want it the next day but instead of asking me for a cancellation they requested a return which locked my cancellation. The order is still sitting in the open status. I have initiated three calls now regarding the underpaid label that was not used and also tracking info hit on my account that there is no tracking for and I have not gotten any results. Every single one of them said that they are going to file an appeal and I have had absolutely nothing happen.
