Teams "stealing" airpods from another device
发布时间:2026-08-28 | 浏览:1
I am having a really annoying issue. My iOS ecosystem is fully connected, and so I can have my AirPods connected to multiple devices and have never had a problem with any other app or program.
However, on Team for Mac OS, when I open teams, the AirPods immediately switch from my iPhone where I am listening to music, over to my Macbook Pro. It only happen with Teams and has never happened until I installed Teams. My only workaround at this stage is to manually switch the AirPods back to the phone to continue listening to music.
Any suggestions or insights? Anyone else experienced this issue?
PS please don't reply with "restart teams", "sign in and sign out", etc. These standard "101" answers are not helpful and just never really solve anything and I have already tried them all.
Thanks in advance.

Anonymous 2024-06-25T11:09:54+00:00 I have the same issue, immediately after making Teams the active application, AirPods are taken over and hijacked from my iPhone where I am listening to music or podcasts. As far as Ive seen, this only happens with teams. If I start playing another sound source from my Mac, like say a youtube video, the same happens when sound is emitted form the video. With teams, it happens even without a sound being emitted form the app. Even though the Apple saying "it just works" is dead years ago, this is not expected behaviour. Teams should wait until an active call or sound before attaching itself to the connected sound out device. 0 comments No comments
