They fully admit they lost the package. When I go to submit my documentation, they want an account number. After spending many hours on the phone, apparently a person needs the EBay account number for UPS. One rep. from UPS said to use the number on the shipping label. DOESN'T WORK! I quit shipping any UPS through ebay and now use pirate ship, another benefit is when you get one of those "additional handling" charges from UPS you can easily appeal it and have a good chance of winning. We could be busy listing and selling but instead claims are buried with red tape when a simple answer could be given / posted for such a large account. eBay is a huge carrier of the UPS brand you think the two would play together a little more nicely. I got the claim process started, received the paperwork, but had to enter an ebay account number for UPS. I called UPS then Ebay, UPS then Ebay. No one was able to help me solve this. I found this thread, and tried all options and links. Finally the only option which worked for me was from CJWERKS. THANK YOU! I got my paperwork sent into ebay. The account number is the 6 digits right after the 1Z of the tracking number. I tried this and UPS accepted my paperwork. Best of luck to all. My issue is UPS is overcharging me on shipping of a light item not going very far. 6 digits after the 1Z on your tracking number.

The first person I talked too said I needed the account number. When I called back with that the next person said I needed an invoice number that they (UPS) sent to ebay. They would not budge. Spoke to a supervisor. He said I needed to call ebay to dispute it as they needed the invoice number. Had ebay call me after I put in "dispute" in the chat box I got an American in America to discuss. I don't think this is by chance. Then the dispute was routed an has to go to through ebay shipping team. Said to expect a message in up to 10 days with resolution. There was absolutely NO reason for an adjustment of 1.5x to this item as I know UPS is a stickler for dimensions. blastu1_collectibles Dispute was routed to an ebay shipping dispute team and they authorized a refund. Additional Handling can apply whenever: • An item is not fully encased in corrugated cardboard. • When a package weighs more than 50 pounds. • If the package's longest side is longer than 48 inches if its second longest side is greater than 30 inches long. • Any cylindrical-like item, such as a barrel, drum, pail, or tire, that is not fully encased in a corrugated i have had 2 packages where they changed the dimensions by 1 inch on one of the 3 sides. this increased my shipping charge by close to $100. watch out for those dimensional speed traps too!
